DMCA Policy

Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice & Copyright Takedown Procedure.

VideoDropper.app respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512, "DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to valid claims of copyright infringement committed using the VideoDropper service.

1. Nature of the Service & Non-Hosting Architecture

VideoDropper operates as an online tool that acts as an automated, client-driven retrieval conduit. VideoDropper does NOT host, upload, store, or archive media files on its servers.

When a user inputs a URL, the tool queries public Instagram CDNs to provide direct links for client-side download. Because VideoDropper does not host any media files, removing content directly from Instagram's platform will automatically prevent VideoDropper from retrieving it.

2. Submitting a DMCA Copyright Infringement Notice

If you are a copyright owner, authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please submit a written notification containing all of the following requirements:

  1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including the title, URL, or registration details where applicable.
  2. Identification of the Infringing Material: The exact URL(s) or post link(s) on Instagram that contain the material you want blocked from being processed by VideoDropper.
  3. Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy & Perjury Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

3. Designated DMCA Agent & Contact Information

Please deliver all notifications of claimed infringement to our Designated Copyright Agent via email:

4. Notice Regarding False Claims

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including court costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer or service provider.

5. Takedown Actions & Blocking

Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA notification, VideoDropper will expeditiously review the request and take appropriate action, including permanently blocking specific Instagram URLs or account identifiers from being processed by our tool.
